School Pictures retakes are THURSDAY, October 10!
If your student missed Picture Day they are scheduled to have their picture taken on Retake Day. If you/ your student is wanting to retake their picture, please use this link to sign up.

Make-up MAP testing will take place on 10/14 & 10/15. Our students have worked hard this year and we're excited to see how much they've grown. This test is an important way that we track students' academic growth. Here are a few reminders for families about testing:
• 9th graders need to come to school Monday with their laptops fully charged
• Get a good nights sleep!
• Please be on time for school.
• Eat a good breakfast.
• Come ready to give your best effort.
This is for Lower School:
Fall reading and math MAP testing for 2nd-5th graders will be taking place October 7-10th. Our students have worked hard this year and we're excited to see how much they've grown! This test is an important way that we track students' academic growth. Here are a few reminders for parents: • Help your child to get a good night sleep (limit technology & spend time outside, if you can!).
• Please be on time to school.
• Encourage your child to eat a good breakfast.
• Encourage your child to give their best effort!
Home Visit sign-ups close TODAY! Home Visits are a special time when teachers visit their students at home. A home visit is a 30-minute non-academic visit intended to deepen your relationship. Click below to sign up.
A couple details to note:
1st Thessalonians 5:18 reads, "In everything give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."
We pray that all is well, and that God is moving greatly in your lives. We continue to be in "Awe" at the greatness of our Lord and Savior. Our scholars are thriving as we continue to learn the rhythms of our new space.

REVIVE is an after-school youth ministry for students at Hope Academy. We are seeking to help youth grow as followers of Jesus, build healthy friendships, and connect with godly mentors. Our exceptional team of volunteers come from various local churches in Minneapolis. Each week we share a meal, play games, and study God's Word. For grades 6–12. We meet Tuesdays from 4:30–7:00pm @ Hope Academy starting on October 8. Youth sign-in at the Cafeteria after school; parent pick up will be at the Peavey Park Entrance at 7:00pm. Ministerio De Mujeres Hope:

Kindergarten parents: Join us for monthly parent groups! These required groups will meet once a month for an hour at Hope Academy (virtual option also available). Classes are led by Dr. Darrell Gillespie and cover topics like sibling rivalry, tough conversations, community building and much more! A Spanish speaking option led by Ms. Reyes and Mr. Franklin will be available soon!
Sign-up below for the time slot that works best for you to join each month (virtual, evening, or during the day). They will go from October - May. These are required monthly meetings for parents of Kindergarten students. Students do not need to attend. One or both parents may attend the sessions. Register below!

The NEW Hope Academy High School building is now open! As a result, our main entrance and office will be moving to this location. This means that Hope Academy now has 3 different entrances and there are some drop off changes. Below is a list of each entrance and what each should be used for.
New Main Entrance (24th St): Use this entrance for school events, late drop offs and after school care pickup.
Chicago Ave Entrance: This entrance is for bus drop off ONLY. There is no longer any entry through this door other than busing.
Peavey Doors (22nd St.): This is the entrance for parent Drop off and Pick up (including before school care). Access this door by heading north on Park Ave. and take a right on E. 22nd St.
